Dr. Lesia Baranovska holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics. She was awarded as the best Associate Professor at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. For over 25 years, she is a Senior Researcher at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. She is a member of the American Mathematical Society, a member of the network EWS (European Women In Mathematics), and a member of the Data Science Association (USA).
Baranovska L.V. is the author of more than 150 scientific publications. Dr. Baranovska fulfills the qualification conditions (achievements in professional activity of item 38 of License conditions: 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 19; Professional standard for group of professions "Teachers of higher education institutions") corresponding to the position Professor at Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic University.
Prof. Lesia (レシア) Baranovska is a certified mathematician by Imperial College London, Stanford University, the University of British Columbia, the University of Tokyo, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is the author of four monographs on Game Theory and 30 textbooks on Higher Mathematics: Linear Algebra, Analytic Geometry, Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Laplace Transform, Probability Theory, and Game Theory.
Baranovska Lesia V. is a laureate of the Taras Shevchenko Prize. She has got a Grant from the NAS of Ukraine for young scientists. She was a Soros' postgraduate student. She graduated from the Physics and Mathematics School № 145 in Kyiv with a gold medal.
Since 2013, Dr.Baranovska was awarded the annual University Associate Professor Award on three occasions for excellence in teaching, science, and organization work.
Dr.Baranovska is a certified expert in higher education quality. Today her main skill sets are learning and development strategies with a focus on integrated blended learning. She is a Chair of the Sectoral Expert Council (Mathematics and Statistics) at the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.
Her research interests are related to game theory, differential-difference pursuit games, convex analysis, functional analysis, and nonlinear control. She is a member of the International Society of Dynamic Games and she is a Head of Scientific Workshop “Game Theory”. Lesia Baranovska is a member of ACE Engage (American Council on Education) which is the home to a community of leaders with a shared mission to build expertise, collaborate, and learn.
Dr.Baranovska is an Editor and Reviewer of several international scientific journals in the USA, Japan, Brazil, Estonia, and India. She is a certified expert by Thomson Reuters and Clarivate Analytics.
